The Gateway Academy Library is situated on the first floor of the Academy next to the reception and is a bright and spacious area used for English lessons and for students to study, revise, complete homework or read.

Staff as well as students are welcome to use the Library which is open from 7am every morning, during all break times and after school until 5pm.

A wide selection of fiction books including many popular authors and up-to-date titles are available to borrow, as well as an extensive range of non-fiction books covering all subject areas for homework, revision or classroom work.

There are ten computers for students to use – speak to the Librarian to book one of these.

All Year 7 students have a Library induction lesson and are given a free book through the ‘Book Buzz’ scheme.

Student Services is also situated in the Library for any queries students may have during the school day.  This includes any medical issues.  Student Services is open from 8am–3pm daily. School uniform is ordered through Student Services.
