Weather Advisory: Early Closure Arrangements
The decision has been made to close the Academy at 12:45pm tomorrow, Wednesday 24 June 2026, due to the forecast extreme weather conditions. Any student who wishes to remain on site after 12:45pm will be able to do so and will be supervised in an air-conditioned study room until the end of the normal school day. A decision regarding arrangements for Thursday will be made tomorrow and communicated to families. We have not taken this decision lightly and appreciate that there may be mixed feelings about it. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. As a reminder, for the remainder of the week: • Students are not required to wear blazers or ties. • Students may wear their PE kit(including trainers) if they wish. • Please ensure that your child brings a water bottle to school each day so that they can stay hydrated.
